Sun.Star reported that long-time onscreen partners Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson have recently renewed their contracts with ABS-CBN.

The contract signing event held at the ABS-CBN Compound in Quezon City was attended by ABS-CBN executives Charo Santos-Concio and Cory Vidanes.

Kim Chiu is seen regularly on the primetime television series “My Binondo Girl” together with Xian Liam and Matteo Guidicelli. On the other hand, Gerald Anderson can be seen on ABS-CBN’s newest primetime television series “Budoy”.

As of this writing, it is still unclear whether or not Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson will be doing any projects together in the future.

Kapamilya Primetime Princess Kim Chiu clarified that actor Sam Milby is not courting her, Mario Bautista reported on journal.com.ph.

“Naku, nagulat ako du’n. Ni hindi nga siya nanliligaw. Nagsimula ‘yan sa show ni Kris Aquino. Kasi, ginaya ko ‘yung bedroom niya, tapos kami na agad. Nakakahiya,” Kim Chiu clarified.

Kim Chiu went clubbing in New York City when she celebrated her 21st birthday last April 19, 2011. The actress is currently in the United States with other Star Magic talents for a concert tour.

“Clubbing, masaya naman, first time.

“Libre ni Papa P. [Pascual], so masaya ‘yong experience ko sa ganoong bagay,” the actress said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.

When asked about her birthday present for herself, the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate revealed that she wants to indulge in a shopping spree together with her Star Magic family.

Reconciliation with Gerald Anderson

Mario Bautista of Journal Online (www.journal.com.ph) reported that rumors has it that reconciled while they were in the US for the Star Magic tour as they were seen very sweet to each other while in the US for the Star Magic tour. As Bautista’s source said, “Mas sweet pa sila kaysa kina John Lloyd Cruz at Shaina Magdayao.”

Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson are back together as onscreen team-up on Star Cinema’s newest movie offering, “Till My Heartaches End.” The film was directed and written by Jose Javier Reyes and is produced by Charo Santos-Concio and Malou Santos.

The story of “Till My Heartaches End” follows the story of Agnes and Powie. Kim Chiu plays the role of Agnes Garcia, a daughter longing for her parents working abroad. On the other hand, Gerald Anderson plays the role of Paolo “Powie” Barredo, a son out of wedlock.

The theme song “Till My Heartaches End” was sang by Carol Banawa.

Star Cinema's "Paano Na Kaya?" showing in Philippine theaters this January 27

Tiyak na kikiligin na naman ang mga fans ng tambalang Kim Chiu at Gerald Anderson sa nalalapit na pagpapalabas ng Star Cinema movie na “Paano Na Kaya?” sa direksyon ni Ruel S. Bayani.

Ang “Paano Na Kaya?” na pinagbibidahan ng pinakasikat na onscreen love team sa bansa na si Kim Chiu at Gerald Anderson. Simula January 27, 2010 ay mapapanood na sa mahigit 100 theaters sa buong bansa ang unang pelikulang handog ng Star Cinema.

Talagang swerte ang Kimerald love team sa mga proyekto nila sa ABS-CBN. May ilang buwan ding hindi nakitang magkasama ang magkatambal sa TV man o sa pelikula pagkatapos ng kanilang teleseryeng “Tayong Dalawa.” “I’ve Fallen For You” na pinalabas noong 2007 ang huling pelikulang pinagtambalan ni Kim Chiu at Gerald Anderson. After the hit television series, “Tayong Dalawa,” the popular onscreen team-up of Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson has been in a hiatus. Towards the end of 2009, the two were seen doing separate projects. Kim Chiu’s latest project is “I Love You, Goodbye,” Star Cinema’s official entry to the 35th Metro Manila Film Festival while Gerald Anderson was last seen on television series “Tiyagong Akyat” and on an episode of “Maalala Mo Kaya.”

Both Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson are thankful about their past, current and upcoming projects with ABS-CBN. For 2010, the Kimerald love team would be seen on ABS-CBN’s newest television series “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo” with Kris Aquino and on Star Cinema’s first offering for the year, “Paano Na Kaya?”

“Bilang opening ng Star Cinema for 2010 siyempre ‘yung pressure andon pero me and Kim are very confident sa movie at sa bagong soap namin. Sobra po kaming confident for these projects,” Gerald Anderson said.

Kim expressed her heartfelt gratitude to ABS-CBN and Star Cinema for her flourishing showbiz career. “Syempre masaya po kami and sobrang thankful po kami sa ABS-CBN at Star Cinema sa tiwalang ibinigay sa amin na bigyan kami ng malaking teleserye at ng malaking movie kaya gagalingan namin and siyempre sobrang confident kami,” the actress said.

“Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo” will also star Kris Aquino, Gabby Concepcion, Albert Martinez, Coco Martin at Gina Pareño and will premiere on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida this January 18.

On the other hand, Star Cinema’s “Paano Na Kaya?” will be showing in Philippine theaters on January 27.

Kim Chiu also went home with the “It Girl” award, an award which means that she is one of the “Stars of today who we predict will make it through 15 years.”

Other Kapamilya stars including Piolo Pascual was the runaway winner for the Sexiest Male star and got a “Legend” award while Angel Locsin won as the Sexiest Female star.
