After the hit television series, “Tayong Dalawa,” the popular onscreen team-up of Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson has been in a hiatus. Towards the end of 2009, the two were seen doing separate projects. Kim Chiu’s latest project is “I Love You, Goodbye,” Star Cinema’s official entry to the 35th Metro Manila Film Festival while Gerald Anderson was last seen on television series “Tiyagong Akyat” and on an episode of “Maalala Mo Kaya.”

Both Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson are thankful about their past, current and upcoming projects with ABS-CBN. For 2010, the Kimerald love team would be seen on ABS-CBN’s newest television series “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo” with Kris Aquino and on Star Cinema’s first offering for the year, “Paano Na Kaya?”

“Bilang opening ng Star Cinema for 2010 siyempre ‘yung pressure andon pero me and Kim are very confident sa movie at sa bagong soap namin. Sobra po kaming confident for these projects,” Gerald Anderson said.

Kim expressed her heartfelt gratitude to ABS-CBN and Star Cinema for her flourishing showbiz career. “Syempre masaya po kami and sobrang thankful po kami sa ABS-CBN at Star Cinema sa tiwalang ibinigay sa amin na bigyan kami ng malaking teleserye at ng malaking movie kaya gagalingan namin and siyempre sobrang confident kami,” the actress said.

“Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo” will also star Kris Aquino, Gabby Concepcion, Albert Martinez, Coco Martin at Gina Pareño and will premiere on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida this January 18.

On the other hand, Star Cinema’s “Paano Na Kaya?” will be showing in Philippine theaters on January 27.
