Kris Aquino backed out of her Metro Manila Film Festival film entry “Ikaw na Nga” under Star Cinema with Kim Chiu. Kim felt saddened about the news.

Kim Chiu talks about playing “Dolzura Cortes” – Young actress Kim Chiu admitted to have slapped singer Bugoy Drilon a tad harder than necessary while they were re-enacting a scene from the Vilma Santos film, “Dahil Mahal Kita: The Dolzura Cortez Story.”

The re-enactment happened in Dolphy Theater inside ABS-CBN in front of Santos. It was in lieu of a planned TV remake of the award-winning movie about the first Filipina to publicly admit that she has AIDS. (from Manila Bulletin)
