The biggest stars of the two rival networks, ABS-CBN and GMA, together with Bench models joined forces to bring this year’s Bench Blackout fashion show last night, July 25, 2008 at the Araneta Coliseum. Of course, the unbeatable tandem of ABS-CBN’s My Girl, Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson were present during the fashion show.

The show featured the new denim and underwear collections of Bench. The biennial fashion show being hosted by Bench is one of the few instances were we see Kapuso and Kapamilya stars together. The show not only showcased the new Bench collections but also featured the works of four Filipino artists: Abi Goy, illustrator/graphic designer; Jun de Leon, premiere photographer; Raymond Red, filmmaker; and Lesley Lobo, fashion designer.

The love team of Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson (more popularly known as Kimerald) received the loudest cheers and applause from the audience.

Aside from endorsing Bench, Kim Chiu is also an endorser of the Belo Medical Group.
