The Philippine remake of My Girl a hit Korean series, premiered last night, May 26, 2008 on ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida.

Kim Chiu stars the Philippine remake of My Girl as Jasmine, a tour guide who struggles to fight poverty.

In an article published on abs-cbnNEWS.com, Kim Chiu did a lot of things just to prepare herself for the said television series. One of the challenges that Kim Chiu faced is learning Mandarin.

Still a newbie in show business, Kim Chiu proved that she is not just another teen actress who doesn’t know anything but to smile. She does have good acting skills.

My Girl Original Soundtrack is on the works and would feature songs from Sam Milby, Kim Chiu herself and Yeng Constantino.

My Girl is directed by Erick Salud and Jerome Pobocan.
